Hours: Monday to Sunday: 8.30 am to 1.30 pm and 7 pm to 8 pm.
Iglesia de los Mártires is one of the oldest churches in Málaga and it is dedicated to the three patron saints of the city.
Construction began at the end of the 15th century.
The church has a long history of destruction and has been rebuilt and renovated several times.
Currently the church is a mixture of styles, but the main style of the interior is Rococo.
If you visit this church, take the time to admire the abundance of marble, the eleven chapels with gilded altars, the statues of the Virgin Mary, the numerous paintings, and the sacristy in pastel tones.
The interior is truly magnificent, which can come as a bit of a surprise given its exterior appearance.
