This unique glass and crystal museum is located in the city centre of Malaga in a beautifully restored 18th century building.
Walk inside and you’ll find three patios and a garden. The ground floor contains an exhibition dedicated solely to the art of stained glass.
On the first floor you will find glass objects arranged according to the historical period in which they were made. You can admire the glass art from ancient Egypt and marvel at the Phoenician, Roman and Byzantine craftsmanship.
Contemporary glass objects and crystal have also been given a place in this museum. Nothing is lacking from this meticulously checked, priceless collection. The museum contains thousands of pieces of glass and crystal from all over the world.
The owner is a wealthy Spaniard who has enriched the collection with his private collection of carpets, porcelain, silver, bronze, paintings, mirrors, furniture and lamps.
It is prohibited to wander through this museum unsupervised. Should you wish to visit this spectacular museum, you must take a guided tour. Tours are given in Spanish, English, French and Italian.
