Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 11 am to 9 pm. Closed on Mondays.

The museum of the Holy Week is located in the former hospital of San Julian in Malaga. This hospital belonged to the church of San Julian for a long time.
In the various rooms, you can admire the floats, or ‘tronos’, used for transporting statues of saints, as well as processional robes and all other objects related to the Holy Week before Easter.
By means of visual art, music, documents, posters and video images you’ll become familiar with the ‘Semana Santa’, a ritual that the Malagueños hold dear.
Here you will also receive more information about the backgrounds of the various religious brotherhoods throughout the ages. Be sure to take a look at the beautiful courtyard surrounded by white marble columns and the adjacent church of San Julian.
